He gathers his inspiration from the video games of yesterday, and on how simple themes aid the player in quickly recognizing the mood, the tension, the emotion for an area, or character. However, he has also pulled from his years studying works of scores and long-form compositions for their attention to tone, atmosphere, and ambience.
